- The SMOKIN' on the Summit BBQ competition will be a KCBS sanctioned State Championship event held in conjunction with Downtown Days in beautiful downtown Lee's Summit, Missouri on June 1 & 2, 2012. This is quickly becoming one of the Midwest's Premiere BBQ Competitions. Register fast as their will only be 68 canopy spaces and 22 RV spaces available to compete for a $10,000 purse. This event SOLD OUT the first year!
