Traveling Smithsonian Exhibition 'The Way We Worked'

- Come share the stories on where, how and why America works with striking images from the National Archives with the Smithsonian Institution Exhibition, "The Way We Worked", from March 24 thru April 21, 2012 in the Watkins Mill Visitor Center & Museum. The exhibition will ...share the stories of how work became a central element in American culture and the many changes affecting the workforce and work environments over the past 100 years, both nationally and locally. Entry will be free to the public. The Way We Worked has been made possible at Watkins Woolen Mill State Park & State Historic Site by the Missouri Humanities Council. The Way We Worked, an exhibition by the National Archives, is part of the Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and State Humanities Councils nationwide. Support for Museum on Main Street has been provided by the United States Congress.
