home The Dream 5K & Freedom March

What:
Join us for the Inaugural Dream 5K & Freedom March on Dr. Martin Luther King's Birthday! Our "Dream" is to bring diversity to one of Kansas City's most historic landmarks that served such giant role in the Civil Rights Movement. Partnering up with the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum exemplifies and reminds us of how the Negro League Players helped break the "Color Barrier" through sport. This event is for everyone from the competitive 5K runners, fitness walkers , strollers or those who just want to walk 1/4 Mile. The Freedom March is open to the public for a Free Will donation. Churchs, schools, businesses and other groups are invited to join us as a Team. Groups can join us and carry signs for a Fee of $250 with unlimited participation in the Freedom March (not including the 5K)
