- The Northland's 29th annual Martin luther King, Jr. Day Celebration features guest speaker, radio talk show host Carl Boyd. Community service and social justice awards will be presented. Performances by Kansas City Heritage Dance Group and Jewell Concert Choir. Reception following celebration in the college union.
